Trinity's Mission and Vision

Our Mission

Grounded in Christ’s love and surrendered to the Holy Spirit, Trinity Episcopal Church seeks to provide a safe environment for the spiritual growth of all, to welcome and serve others, to reach out to those in need, and to share the Gospel.

Our Vision

The Vision of Trinity Episcopal Church is to be a community of believers who experience God’s presence, grace, guidance and transforming power through liturgical worship, constant prayer, fellowship, and the study of Holy Scripture (Acts 2:42).

Fr. Gerry's Monthly Message

Every once in awhile someone will ask me if they must go to Church. It is difficult to answer because it seems to speak to a rule and when it comes to God I want to speak of relationships. Does one need to go to church to love God or be loved by God? No. Is church membership and attendance something that is an aspect of a healthy relationship with God? Yes.

One of the promises God makes to Abraham is to make him a great people. At Mount Sinai, God takes a group of ex-slaves and begins a covenant with them that will form a people united under one God. Jesus gathers a community of disciples together and wants them to stay together. On Pentecost the Holy Spirit unites these people into one body – the Church...

Trinity Women's Book Club
Calling all Trinity Women Readers
Now that school is out, and the pace slows down a bit, perhaps you have more time for reading! Come check out the Trinity Women's book club! Our next meeting is at 7:00 PM on Monday, June 22 in the Library. The book for this month is Loving Frank by Nancy Horan. According to "Publisher's Weekly", this novel is based on the life of Mamah Borthwick Cheney, best known as the woman who wrecked Frank Lloyd Wright's first marriage. Despite the title, this is not a romance, but a portrayal of an independent, educated woman at odds with the restrictions of the early 20th century. Frank and Mamah, both married and with children, met when Mamah's husband, Edwin, commissioned Frank to design a house. Their affair became the stuff of headlines when they left their families to live and travel together, first going to Germany, where Mamah found rewarding work doing scholarly translations of Swedish feminist Ellen Key's books. . ." Upcoming books on our list include A Thread of Grace and World without End.
