Children's Ministries - Trinity Episcopal Church
Welcome! Trinity Episcopal Church has a thriving community in Children's Ministires. Children are loved, encouraged and directed towards a releationship with Jesus Christ. At Trinity, children are valued and nurtured. We are committed to helping them learn to worship. Perhaps they won't always understand what is going on or being said, but they can understand that this is a place where they are loved and accepted.
Children’s Worship (All Children ages 3 to 8)
Children come to the front of the church after the Gosepel reading and follow the Worship Leader to Children's Chapel. Offered at both the 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM services, Children’s Worship basically follows the liturgical service for the day, but on a child’s level. We leave after the Gospel reading and return during the Peace before Eucharist begins.
Children’s Sunday School (All Children ages 3 through 6th Grade)
Two Godly Play classes for children 3-4 and 5-6 years old and Trinity Infinity Bible Fun classes for 2nd-3rd grade are held in the Children's Building. The TnTs (Teens in Training), 4th through 6th grade, use the Grapple and Episcopal Church Curriculum. They meet upstairs in the Atrium Building in the "Our Space" room. All classes begin at 10:15 Am and end at 10:50 AM. Children have unlimited fun studying the Bible and learning about our Episcopal liturgy and traditions. Come join us for endless fun.
Attention Parents: All children not picked up by 11:00 am will be taken to the Childcare Center.
TnT: Teens 'N Training
Teens 'N Training is the ministry for 4th, 5th, and 6th graders. An explosion of new opportunities for this age group includes their own Sunday School class in the "Our Space" room and regular gatherings for fun and service projects. Participation in the diocesan retreats for middle-schoolers is also encouraged.
Vacation Bible School
Held the last week of June, VBS is for all 4-year-olds through 4th grade. Our volunteers last year ranged from 5th grade through 80-year-old helpers! You do not have to have small children to be a part of this wonderful, energizing, enlightening week. We have all kinds of jobs, from preparations beforehand to the big finale party the last evening. Some just involve a few hours and some many more. So wherever your time and talents lie, be a part of this church family event.
