Mom's DevotionalParlor

Meeting Monday's at 9:00 AM in the parlor, a Mom's Devotional explores the qualities that make you not just a mom but a one-of-a-kind, precious daughter of God. As you learn, reflect, and grow you'll be amazed at how time spent with God makes the most ordinary day extraordinary.

Dig into the devotionals and rediscover yourself as a whole person: wife, friend, family member, beautiful person, and most of all, believer. Come and discover more about yourself - a unique creation of God - and how to make your life on of purpose, balance, and beauty.

Crossways Bible Study

Crossways is an in-depth Bible study that takes you through the entire Bible in 60 units over a two year period. It is not necessary to commit to all 60 units, but we prefer you commit to a least one year of the course. Throughout the course we go through every book of the Bible to see how all of the books interrelate with one another to form the grand narrative of God’s salvation for the world; committing to at least a year will make your experience of the course and the way you experience the Bible itself, more meaningful, deep, and rich. Each section has a manual and workbook that can be bought individually for $14.00 or all 6 sections of the course can be purchased together for $63.00 for a savings of $20.00. A historical timeline of events comes free with the purchase of the first section or for those who get started after the first section, it can be purchased for $5.00.

The Crossways class will be offered on Monday evenings or Wednesday afternoons. The Class will start on September 13 at 7:00pm or Wednesday September 15 at 1:00pm. The same topics will be covered at both sessions so if you have to miss the Monday session you are welcome to join the Wednesday session.

Please send a check made out to Trinity Church with “Crossways” in the memo line c/o Melanie Sheffield in the Church office and she will order you the books. Delivery takes about a week.

Footprints of the Soul: Developing a deeper creative spiritual journey towards God

This class is for all Christians or seekers who have a deep hunger for experiencing a sense of connection or oneness with Christ. The spiritual formation process encourages the development of meaningful spiritual practices.

We will learn to meet Christ at a deeper level through prayer, music, art, creation, and listening to God’s voice within. We will look at prayer forms for eight different learning styles, so if you are right-brained or left-brained, linear or circular, you will discover a way best suited for you to grow closer to Christ.

The Eclectic Eccentrics meet every Wednesday from 1:00 - 3:00 PM in the church parlor, September through May. The group reads Biblically based books, listens to tapes, invites speakers, and enjoys fellowship.

Crossways Bible StudyRoom A215

Crossways offers a panoramic view of Holy Scripture, examining the meaning of the complete biblical story from Genesis to The Revelation of John. With visuals, discussion questions and a "hands-on" approach to the Bible, this survey course will explore the central message of Jesus, the Messiah. Not only will you know the Bible better, you will grow in faith and ministry.

The Library supports the teaching, preaching and evangelistic efforts of the Church. It is available to help individuals develop an understanding of the faith and grow into their full potential as children of God and workers in God’s kingdom. The library is located at the back of Butler Fellowship Hall.
