Cornerstone Recovery
Cornerstone Recovery is a positive peer pressure group of young adolescents 12 to
18 years of age that teaches children how to live responsible and principle-based
lives. LCDC counselors all have recovery experience. Teens learn that they can have
fun in a sober environment. Weekly meetings offer a 12-step program for parents
and teens. Staffed functions are held every weekend for teens and family functions
are held throughout the year. Counseling services are available. Cornerstone Recovery
meets Monday evenings at 7:30 in the Atrium Building.
Loaves and Fishes
Jesus said, “Feed my lambs… take care of my sheep… Feed my sheep.” (John 21:15-17)
During times of crisis, sadness and joy, Trinity's Loaves and Fishes volunteers
are there with a visit, a smile, an encouraging word and a simple meal. As Trinity
continues to grow, the small groups and ministries care for their members through
coordination with Loaves and Fishes.
The Prayer Ministries
Trinity has a number of vital prayer ministries. Our staff prays for each member
of Trinity once a month during our regularly scheduled Morning Prayer time. However,
those who have special prayer needs may fill out a prayer card in the church pew
and put it in the offering plate with your desire for prayer. Another way to request
prayer is to write your name in our prayer book at the receptionist’s desk
in the church office, or call Sheila Gerth at 281-367-8113, and request that your
name be added to the bulletin. If you would like a group of committed people to
pray for you, call Nancy Farrell at 281-367-8113 and she will alert the Prayer Chain
of your request.

Hospital Blood Bank.

They also pray with fellow parishioners upon request. Service projects include:
assisting with receptions for the Bishop and other parish.wide events, making gift
bags for the Women’s Center of Montgomery County, providing clothing for women
in shelters, leading small study groups and organizing retreats or quiet days for
the church family.
The Brotherhood of St. Andrew

here on earth by means of regular prayer, study and personal service.
Stephen Ministries
Trinity began its Stephen Ministry program in January, 2003. In the tradition of
Saint Stephen (Acts 6:1.6), a group of dedicated lay ministers at Trinity provides
Christian care to those in need. These Stephen Ministers are part of the worldwide
interdenominational Stephen Ministry program. Stephen Ministers meet with individuals
in a one on one relationship on a regular basis during times of change, stress or
crisis. These ministers bring God’s love and presence into a painful or difficult
situation and help the person in crisis look at the spiritual dimension of their
situation and life. Confidentiality is absolute in the Stephen Ministry program.
To become a Stephen Minister requires participating in a 50-hour training program.
Classes will begin in January of each year.
The Sunday Prayer Team
The Sunday Prayer partners are available at the rear of the Nave to pray for those
who have any concerns, intercessions, or thanksgivings after receiving communion.
Team members come from various groups whose focus is on healing prayer or prayer
and service. These include the Order of St. Luke, Stephen Ministry, Community of
Hope, and Daughters of the King.
Trinity Taxi
Trinity Taxi is a group of parish members who provide transportation to the hospital
or other treatment facilities for those who are unable to drive and who have no
friend or family member to help them.
Post High School Ministry
The members of the Post High School ministry stay connected
with our Post-High School young adults in several ways. They receive a prayer card
monthly from the Daughters of the King, they are remembered on their birthday with
a card, and are sent an occasional box filled with "goodies".
