ST. ANNE'S GUILD
Our November meeting features one of our own members as speaker! Shirley McCord
will review the book "The Gift of Years" by Christian author Joan Chittister. This
book is rich in wisdom and speaks to us about how a life well lived draws us closer
to the source of all life. This should be very interesting. We will meet in The
Wesley Room Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at
11:30 AM. Remember to bring your lunch. Dessert will be served by hostesses
Pat Ashbaugh, Reta Holderby, Darlene Poplawski and Judy Rutledge. St. Anne's is
for all women of Trinity. For more information please call our president Paula Mehlhop

THANKSGIVING BREAD BLESSING
We are in need of loaves of bread for our annual bread blessing, held at our Thanksgiving
Eve Service, Wednesday, November 24th at 7:00 PM. Please bring loaves
of bread to the marked freezer in the Butler Hall Kitchen by Tuesday, November 23rd.
Please join us at the service and bring home a blessed loaf of bread for your Thanksgiving
feast!
TRINITY WOMENS’ BOOK CLUB
Trinity Womens’ Book Club invites you to our next meeting on Monday, November
29th at 7:00 PM in the Parlor. Please note the DATE CHANGE
from 11/22! We are an easy going group who enjoy reading and discussing books over
light refreshments. All women are welcome! This month we will review the book, The
Lady's Maid by Margaret Forster. An editorial review from Publisher's Weekly
states, "British novelist Forster lures the reader into the attic of the famous
house on Wimpole Street, where Elizabeth Barrett's maid, Elizabeth Wilson, composes
copious letters to her mother in the North Country. Her correspondence, the fulcrum
of the novel, describes her daily experiences, her impressions of the large household
and, especially, her sickly but charismatic mistress. Wilson's devotion is such
that she forsakes her homeland, her family, a suitor and even her own reputation
in order to aid Miss Elizabeth and her suitor Mr. Browning when they elope to Europe.
Questions, call Vicki Hamill at 936.483.6106.
