Pentecost Sunday - May 11th

Sunday, May 11th we celebrate Pentecost by reading the Gospel in several languages to reinact The Day of Pentecost. We will also celebrate our organist Jerry Hakes as he resigns his position May 31st to work fulltime at John Cooper School. Join us in Butler Fellowship Hall at 10:15 AM for a reception to honor Jerry.

Children’s Sunday School Teach Recognition

Sunday, May 11th please join us for a celebration during the Sunday School hour in the Children’s Building to celebrate Pentecost and to thank our great teachers for all they have done this year.

Junior Warden Campus Clean Up Day

Saturday, May 17th from 8:00 AM to Noon

We invite all members of the Trinity Family to come on Saturday, May 17th from 8:00 AM to Noon to continue the good work that has begun around our campus. We want to have everything looking "spiffy" for Fr. Gerry’s Celebration of a New Ministry on June 6th.

Celebrate our Seminarian/Bi-Vocational Postulates

Come to Butler Hall after each service on May 11th to sign the large cards for Janice Jones, Susan Gerding and Lynn Ronaldi who graduate in May and June from their respective schools. We want to let them know how much their Trinity family loves and cares about them.

CAPS Hawaiian Summer Send Off

A CAPS Hawaiian Luau on Saturday, May 17th

Aloha! The CAPS luau will be hosted by the Hannas on Saturday, May 17th. The theme is Hawaiian, so feel free to break out those hula skirts and tropical shirts. Sign up in the Narthex for child care provided by Trinity Childcare Center. If you can make it, please bring your favorite summer/tropical appetizer or dessert. Let us know if you can make it to the luau before Wednesday, May 14th.

Trinity Episcopal Church - Vacation Bible School
VBS is for all 4 year olds through 4th grade. Our volunteers last year ranged from 5th grade through 80 year old helpers! You do not have to have small children to be a part of this wonderful, energizing, enlightening week. We have all kinds of jobs, from preparations beforehand to the big finale party the last evening. Some just involve a few hours and some many more. So wherever your time and talents lie, be a part of this church family event. We have a spot for you!

Last Chance to Sign Up for Family Mission Trip

Travel with us to The Spirit Lake Reservation in North Dakota, July 20th to 26th

There will be a meeting on Tuesday, May 20th at 6:30 PM in the Office Conference Room for anyone interested in gooing on the mission trip to the The Spirit Lake Reservation in North Dakota. The trip will be July 20th to 26th. The work we will be doing is construction on the Episcopal Church of Fort Totten. This is a church wide mission trip open to anyone who would like to go.

MOM: Treat yourself to a Mom’s Night Out sponsored by the Guild of the Christ Child on Thursday, May 22, at 7:00 PM. We’ll meet for dinner and fellowship at Los Cucos in the Panther Creek Shopping Center. ANY Mom who needs a break is welcome to join us!

  • Youth Mission Trip is June 15th - 19th.

Lord of the Streets Ministry

Lord of the Streets Ministry will be holding a noon-day service and serving lunch at LOTS in downtown Houston on Monday, May 12th.

Trinity Scrappers to Meet

Our next Trinity Scrappers night will be in Friday, May 16th from 6:00 PM to 9:45 PM in the Wesley Room

Bring your photos and scrapbook supplies and get ready for a night of fun, fellowship and scrapbooking! You can bring your own dinner or we will order box dinners from Cafe Express for $10.

Baptisms for Spring 2008

The next Baptism is scheduled for Pentecost which is May 11th at 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM.

If you or someone in your family would like to be baptized, contact Sheila Gerth at the church office so that forms may be sent to you for completion of certificates. There is a Baptism Class for parents and Godparents on Saturday, May 10th from 10am to Noon.
