BLESSING OF THE ANIMALS

In celebration of the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi, join us at Trinity Sunday October 4 at 2PM for our annual Blessing of the Animals! Bring your beloved pets…furry, feathered, or scaly for a special afternoon blessing. Along with the Trinity Scouts, we will be collecting pet food donations for Fuzzy Texan Animal Rescue, a volunteer-powered nonprofit dedicated to rescuing homeless, neglected, abandoned, and special-needs animals. The rescue has a special focus on caring for cleft-palate neonates, animals with hydrocephalus, and other special-needs babies who often require extraordinary care. Because many of these animals require specialized medical care, medications, treatments, and ongoing support, we will also gladly accept monetary donations to help Fuzzy Texan Animal Rescue with these important expenses. All animals and their people are welcome! For more information, contact Liz Linger at llinger@trinitywoodlands.org.
