About the event
JOURNEY OF TRANSFORMATION: You are invited to join the Journey of Transformation into an Anti-Racism Group Discussion of a new book, My Grandmother's Hands: Racialized Trauma and the Pathway to Mending Our Hearts and Bodies, from October 13 – November 10.  Weekly Event! We will meet and cover Part I of the book Sundays at 3:00 p.m facilitated by Fr. Frank over Zoom. The author, Resmaa Menakem, MSW, LICSW, is a therapist with decades of experience currently in private practice in Minneapolis, MN, specializing in trauma, body-centered psychotherapy, and violence prevention. My Grandmother's Hands is a call to action for all of us to recognize that racism is not only about the head, but about the body, and introduces an alternative view of what we can do to grow beyond our entrenched racialized divide. Sign up here, at the Ministry Fair or in the Narthex.
