Journey of Transformation Group

Journey of Transformation Group is hosting a showing of the documentary, "Jesus Was a Migrant", which follows NYT bestselling author and historian Dr. Jemar Tisby to the U.S.-Mexico border to examine the contradiction at the heart of American Christianity: the same faith that compels some to welcome migrants compelled others to shut the door on them. Our group began with Dr. Jemar Tisby's book "The Color of Compromise", and now we are excited to explore this topic together through his documentary. The showing will be Tuesday, June 2, at 7pm in the Multipurpose Room in the Children's ministry building. It’s 30 a 30 minute documentary follow by a live video Q&A time with the documentary’s director.
