Join NAMI Greater Houston and Trinity Episcopal Church for the NAMI Family and Friends seminar. NAMI Family and Friends informs individuals who have loved ones with a mental health condition how to best support them. It’s also an opportunity to meet other individuals and families in similar situations and gain community support. The seminar is led by facilitators with lived experience of supporting a family member with a mental health condition. They will walk you through the following topics: Understanding diagnoses, treatment, and recovery, effective communication strategies, the importance of self-care, crisis preparation strategies, NAMI and community resources. Join us by registering at register@namigreaterhouston.org. The seminar is set for Saturday, January 11, 2025, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. in the Butler Fellowship Hall.
